Christmas Decorations

Up front let me say, I know the lighting is not the greatest in these pics. My bad. It's probably as good as it's going to get this year so here are the pics of the house decorated for Christmas! First, our stockings (shout out to Mom for doing all the work on these - I was just the grunt work - cutting, pinning a couple of things, not much at all):

I need to insert here - there was much discussion about what names should go on Nathan's and my stockings. Our actual names, Mommy and Daddy, Mom and Dad, and on and on. In the end, it was what would fit! Nathan's name wouldn't fit, Mommy wouldn't fit, so this is what we ended up with. Here's the big picture:

Also, for anyone who's counting, yes Kona does still have a stocking, we just don't have a hanger for it so it's hanging on the doorknob of the pantry.

Here's our Advent calendar that Mom made for us. Every day Milo and I put another member of the nativity on there. We've saved Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus for last and *gasp* they are the only ones left now! That means we are CLOSE to Christmas!

Our buffet displaying all of the Christmas cards we've received and the nutcracker that Nathan's brother brought us from Germany:

My collection of snowmen (and there may be a Santa or two mixed in there):

And last but certainly not least, the tree. The pile o' presents sitting there disguises the fact that the tree is squished up on that side. We kept thinking it would "fall out" but it just didn't. And that's OK.
