Usually in February our daffodils come up. We didn't plant them, they were just a nice surprise left for us by some previous owner of this house. But as long as they last, I cut a few each week and put them in an old star milk bottle on our mantle or on the table. It makes me happy just to see them sitting there - so cheerful!
I love daffodils! We always have some sitting in the kitchen window this time of year. Such a beautiful little flower! :]
