And no pics this time either, because I'm lazy. We have made some good progress on the baby's room, not so much on the rest of the things we need to get done. Anyone want to volunteer to enter about 18 months worth of transactions into Quickbooks for me?
The title refers to our doctors appointment this morning. First of all, let me back up. For those of you that DON'T live in OKC, check out some OKC news websites or even the national news I suspect - it's been raining a little today. We weren't sure we were going to make it to the dr. this morning. There are some great pictures out there of what's been happening...you can see them here, and here at the very least...
Excuse this interruption but really? David Hasselhoff on Y&R?? Give me a break.
Anyway, we had to be creative in our routes to the dr. office. We did make it though. And here's what she said. (It's about to get technical for those who don't care to read it or if there are by some small chance any males reading.)
My BP was back down in a "normal" range (thank goodness!) so everything there is good. She checked and said I'm 50% effaced and dilated to...(drum roll please)...1/2 cm. Yes, that's right. One half cm. Ugh. Essentially not at all. So, we wait. She said no baby this week. What we're praying is that it's either this week (before the 21st) or not until after the 25th because our dr. will be out of town. I know the other drs are completely capable, but I would just rather have my dr. there!
Anyway, sorry for the boring post. If I can ever get this mess with the neighborhood association taken care of I will have more time to take and post pics of the baby's room. I'm really pleased with how it's looking - Nathan has done a fantastic job working on it! With that, I'm off to heat up dinner so we can go to our last class! Hope everyone is staying dry.
